THE PANTO season gets underway in Rugby tomorrow (Friday, Jan 9) with a classic fun-filled family production.
Rugby Theatre in Henry Street will be showing Dick Whittington until Sunday, January 18.
The play centres on Dick, played by theatre regular Michele Marsella and his trusty sidekick Tommy the Cat (Helen Cotterill).
Dick embarks on a magical adventure taking him from the banks of the Thames to the shores of Morocco and back again.
Director Mike Allen said: "We've got a great cast, beautiful costumes and a fantastic set so all the ingredients are in place for a great show.
"It's got bags of comedy, song and the dance. There'll be plenty for the audience to cheer, boo and sing along to."
Also starring in the play is Kirsty Giles as Dick's pretty bride-to-be Alice, while Danny Smith and Neil Barnacle are set to delight as hapless duo Captain Cockle and Mr. Mussel.
