A large group of teenagers were spotted at an abandoned house near Kenilworth tonight (Thursday) - and nine of them now face fines for breaching Covid regulations.

Police caught nine of them but others managed to run away.

Officers said that the aside from risks of spreading Covid-19, the youngsters also put themselves at risk because the house was not in a good state.

Police said they will contacting the owners to make sure the property is secured.

A police spokesperson said: "The obvious Covid breaches aside, which will be dealt with, this is very risky as the building is not in a good state."
