POLICE have been granted more time to question a man they arrested for the murder of Kevin Wright.

Officers had today (Thursday) to charge or release the 28-year-old man from Birmingham.

But they attended Nuneaton Magistrates this morning, where they were granted a further 36 hours to question him.

The extension of detention - the second one granted since the arrest on Tuesday - runs until Friday evening.

Kevin Wright was stabbed to death in Church Street at about 2.45am on Monday, May 5.
