Man survives after being stabbed in the stomach

A MAN has appeared in court this morning (Monday) after a stabbing in Rugby over the weekend.


The incident happened on Saturday night in Grosvenor Road, Rugby, when a 29-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach.

He was taken to hospital where he is now stable. His injuries are not thought to be life threating.

Janos Vamosi, 55, of Grosvenor Road, Rugby, has been charged with unlawful and malicious wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
