THE number of confirmed cases of swine flu at Bilton Grange School near Rugby has risen to 25.

A total of 22 pupils and 3 staff members now have the illness.

However, the Dunchurch Road school has re-open this morning.

Peter Kirk, the school's Head Teacher, said: "We continue to work with the HPA and NHS Warwickshire, and we are confident that it is appropriate to re-open the School today, after taking the precautionary measure of closing the School for ten days.

"I would like to extend my thanks to the parents who have been supportive of all the measures we have put in place to ensure the smooth return of pupils to School.

"We look forward to welcoming the children back for the final two weeks of term and resuming all the usual activities of the Summer Term."
