Wanted man arrested after coming down from roof

A MAN wanted by police was arrested after climbing down from the roof of a home in Rugby.
Officers and a helicopter were called to an address in Lawford Road at around 5.30pm on Tuesday.

The 20-year-old man escaped their clutches and climbed on to the roof of the home.

After a short period he came down from the roof and was arrested.

The man was wanted on warrant for breaching a court order and failing to appear at Magistrates Court in respect of criminal damage and breaching a curfew order.

He is due to appear before Rugby Magistrates Court today.
