Rowlands 65ao (Joe Chappell 10, Nathan Hooker 3-17, Jake Butler 3-1)
Rowlands won the toss and invited Long Itchington to bat on drying pitch after the recent heavy rain. All the batsmen struggled against the accurate Rowland attack in bright, breezy conditions. LI eventually reached 73 for 8 wickets in their 20 overs, Jamie Breakwell top-scoring for Long Itchington with 22 runs, Perry Stephen(9) and under 11 skipper Jake Butler(8) gave the tail a wag. All Rowland bowlers performed well but Hassan Shah 2 for 11 and James Lieman 2 for 15 were the pick.
In reply Rowland also struggled to come to terms with the pitch and tight bowling and good sharp fielding (4 catches held, 2 run outs) kept everyone watching on the edge of their seats till the very last delivery. Joe Chappell top-scored for Rowland with 10 of their 65ao in 19.3 overs. For Long Itchington, skipper Nathan Hooker took 3-17 but the man of the match performance came from Jake Butler with figures of 2.3-1-1-3 at the end.
