Mallory Park looks to a successful 2009
Following a hugely successful 2008 Mallory Park is already gearing up for 2009 which is shaping up well.

Four of the big meetings for next year are scheduled and work is continuing at the Leicestershire venue to make them bigger and better.

The
motorcycling season will get a kick start on the 14th and 15th March with the Spring Cup Race of the Year starting off the action.

Mallory Park will once again be back on the world stage on the 30th and 31st May when the World Motocross returns for its second time. The inaugural event was a big success with 41,000 fans attending as well as the racing being broadcast world wide. It certainly put Mallory Park and Leicestershire firmly on the motorcycling map.

The very popular and well attended Festival of 1000 bikes is back on the 11th and 12th July. Book early if you want to get your classic machine out on track alongside numerous other vintage bikes. It is an ideal family weekend with plenty of entertainment and of course bikes.

British Superbikes will be arriving with a bang on the 17th-19th July, bringing all the energy and excitement the best domestic championship in the world can muster. The thrilling series pulled in a bumper crowd this year and next year it is expected to be bigger and better.

If you simply can't wait to next year for your motorcycling fix then come along to the 35th Plum Pudding Handicap Yuletide Races on Friday 26th December - Boxing Day.
