SOCCER: Rugby Town U14s

As the Rugby Town Under 14s football team eagerly anticipates the new season, after a successful promotion, sponsors, Miller Homes have had special trophies produced for the whole squad to say well done for such a fantastic campaign.
The Housebuilder is used to winning after scooper three Housebuilder of the Year titles in the last two years, and the champion's spirit clearly rubbed off on the Rugby Town Juniors after the side won every single league match in the John Bryan Coventry Minor League Division 'B'.
Last season Miller Homes chose to sponsor the young soccer stars after starting work on a new housing development – 'St. Peters', in Rugby, just a short drive from the team's training facilities and club house.
Sales director of Miller Homes, Linda Androlia, said: "We were blown away by the success of the lads last season and just had to do something to say a huge well done to the whole team. We were told that individual players wouldn't receive trophies from the league so we thought we'd ensure they all had a memento of such an impressive season by getting our own created."
Miller Homes' sales negotiator for the St. Peter's development, Tanya Bishop visited the team's training ground at Kilsby Lane to present the players with their trophies.
The Rugby Town Juniors will begin the new season in September in the top division - John Bryan Coventry Minor League Division 'A'. Linda Androlia added: "We wish the lads the very best of luck for the new season. Miller Homes has made a further commitment to the town of Rugby by investing in a new site on Bilton Road, which will be known as Butterfields. So we'll certainly be building in the town for sometime yet and very much hope that the Rugby Juniors have continued success for many years to come."
Club representative, David Burton added: "This is a really nice gesture from Miller. Their support is hugely appreciated. We can't wait to start the new season and are looking forward to emulating last year's achievements."
