Huge wasp nest found in loft

NEXT time you complain about too many wasps in the hot weather, spare a thought for Colin Mills.


Many thousands of wasps decided to make their home in his loft in Townsend Lane, Long Lawford.

And as a souvenir, he has managed to keep the gigantic nest in perfect condition - minus the mass of wasps.

Although many people would have been terrified of the nest, Colin described it as 'very beautiful', adding: "It must have taken many months to build and is truly a work of art."

The wasps were removed because the nest was taking up too much room in the loft, which contains many storage items.
