THEY may have lost, but Rugby Town seem to have found themselves a new goalkeeper.

Midfielder Aaron Stringfellow was given the unenviable honour of putting on the No. 1 jersey, when 'keeper Alessandro Barcherini was injured against Hemel Hempstead at the weekend.

But he deserved a round after the game for saving this penalty (see picture).

Unfortunately, Rugby Town ended up on the wrong side of a 3-1 defeat - a result we brought to you minutes after the game.

To end the story on a happy note, Aaron Stringfellow was back in penalty action again yesterday (Monday) - this time he converted the late winner against King's Lynn (see sport section for story).

For the full match report and analysis, see Rugby's biggest sports coverage in this Thursday's Rugby Advertiser.
